Bonnie Fay Sasser, 63, of Belfast, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
Funeral will be held on Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at 3 p.m. at The First Baptist Church of Pikeville. The Rev. Jimmy Millard will officiate. Interment will follow at Pike Cemetery.
Miss Sasser was born in Wayne County on Jan. 11, 1944, to the late Preston David and Lena Sasser. Bonnie was a member of The First Baptist Church of Pikeville, where she was the church pianist and organist. She had a true love for southern gospel music including the Anchorman.
Bonnie leaves to cherish many special friends and her beloved friend, Jazzy, her cat.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, from 2 until 3 p.m. at The First Baptist Church of Pikeville.
