SEAN THOMAS HIRSCH

Sean Thomas Hirsch, 21, of 2871 U.S. Highway 13 South, passed Thursday at his home. Born in West Islip, N.Y., Sean is the son of Tom and Kelley Hirsch of Grantham and the big brother to Tara Eileen Hirsch of the home. Sean was currently serving in the U.S. Army undergoing combat training and was a former lifeguard and swimming instructor at the Goldsboro Family YMCA/Grantham Pool.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with full military honors.
In addition to his parents and sister, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Willie and Maureen Draughon of LaGrange, N.C.; his fiancée, Janea Kraus of Niceville, Fla.; and was looking forward to the birth of his son, Kaden Thomas.
Family members will greet friends Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral and at other times will be at the home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Red Cross, Wayne County Chapter, 600 N. George St., Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
