DUDLEY -- Joseph Donald Whitley, 59, of 150 Kelly Springs Road, died Wednes-day at home.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Tyndall Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Swinson officiating, followed by visitation.
The burial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Wilson Family Cemetery near Calypso.
Mr. Whitley was employed with Butterball where he was a machinist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Edward Lee Whitley and Tiny Lou Perry Whitley; a sister, Myrtle McCullen; and a brother, Ray Whitley.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Foss Whitley; a son, Joseph Whitley Jr. of Seven Springs; a daughter, Vicki Rae Whitley Stanley of LaGrange; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Louise and Earl Conway of Goldsboro and Peggy Crow of Raleigh; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Whitley Jr. and Ella Whitley of Raleigh, William and Barbara Whitley of Georgia, Dennis and Shirley Whitley of Kinston, Phillip Whitley of Stantonsburg, and Diane "Mrs. Ray" Whitley of Pikeville; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Cameron, Jeremy and Matthew Whitley.
