ROSE HILL -- William "Billy" Edward Wilson Sr., 68, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Mr. Wilson was born to the late William and Effie Wilson of Duplin County.
He was predeceased by his wife, Joan B. Wilson. Two children survive.
A private graveside service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. R. Ponder officiating. Memeorial services were also held yesterday at Rose Hill United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Noah Warwick Benefit c/o Community Funeral Home, P.O. Box 728, Rose Hill, N.C. 28458.
