Elder Callie Jones, 66, died Saturday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. at Wave of Glory Faith Ministries. Pastor Daniel Uzzell will officiate. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park North. She was a 1959 graduate of Dillard High School, a 1961 graduate of Barnes Business College, founder and Minister of House of Deliverance. She was well known in Wayne County for her tax preparation business, Jones Tax Services.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Jones of Dudley; one son, Robert Smith Jr. and his wife, Darlene, of Goldsboro; four daughters, Rhonda Lewis of Pensacola, Fla., Lawana Curry of Greenville, S.C., Cassandra Smith of Goldsboro and Tonya Jones of Dudley; three brothers, Daniel Adams and David Adams, both of Durham, Donald Adams of Dudley; two sisters, Margaret Adams Durante and Doris Adams White; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St.
