JOSEPHINE WATERS ANDERSON MCKEE

Josephine Waters Anderson McKee, 69, of Cashwell Drive, died Sunday. A native of Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Nelson and Ruby Howell Waters, and the widow of Norman Austin Anderson Jr. and Edwin B. McKee Jr. Mrs. McKee was a retired school teacher having taught in Duplin and Wayne counties. She was an active member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church and was active in many local civic organizations.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Madison Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Talmage Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh.
Josephine is survived by her sister, Rubylene Lambert and husband, Rodney, of Calypso; brother, Haran Nelson Waters and wife, Clementine, of Mount Olive; sister-in-law, Deborah Ginn Waters of Cary; three special nieces and two special nephews; two great-nieces and three great-nephews; five aunts and many cousins.
Mrs. McKee was also preceded in death by her brother, Milford Howell Waters.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
