Carolyn Murray Carter, 62, died Saturday at Wilson Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Lester "Junior" Carter; a cat named "Tom"; daughter, Renee Quinn and husband, Kelly, of Trinity N.C.; sons, David Earp of Fountain, N.C., Lee Earp and wife, Melissa, of Pikeville, N.C., Phillip Earp of Goldsboro, N.C.; two granddaughters, Christina Earp and Elizabeth Earp.
Preceded in death by her parents, William Everette Murray and Blonnie Murray of Middlesex, N.C.; and a grandson, Donald Steed.
She attended Evansdale United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home in Wilson, N.C. Family will receive friends and family at the home of Lee Earp tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
