Ruth Mary Grondin Rohde, 66, of 1112 Clingman St., died Sunday at her home.
Ruth was born in Boston, Mass., to the late Henry Ralph Grondin and Marie Irene LaFreniere Cammarota. She was married to the late Maurice Edward Rohde Jr. Ruth had worked as a cook.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Gulledge and the Rev. Tom Norris, O.S.F.S. officiating.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Marcia Rohde, Tina Smith and husband, Matthew Joe, Sandra Wilson and husband, Ken, and Tammy Combs and husband, John David; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her brothers, David Grondin of Rhode Island and John Grondin of Pennsylvania; her sisters, Jeannie Finan of Florida and Susan Truitt of California; and her special friend, Janice Murdock of California.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Maurice Edward "Butch" Rohde III; her father, Pat John Cammarota; her brothers, Frank Grondin and Edward Grondin.
The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home.
