GREENVILLE -- Nellie McCown Herring, a long-time resident of Kinston, N.C., died Friday at Cypress Glen Retirement Center of Greenville. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gray Herring Sr. in Wayne County.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at Providence Methodist Church, Goldsboro, following a private interment in the family plot there in the church cemetery.
