Douglas A. Vinson, 59, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007. He was born in Dillon County, S.C., to the late Sue and Albert S. Vinson Jr.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Doug Dexter officiating.
Survivors include his son, Justin Vinson of Milton, Del.; daughters, Mariah Vinson of San Diego, Calif., and Krystian Vinson of Powder Springs, Ga.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Roger Scroggins of Windermere, Fla., and Patti and Jimmy Chandler of Asheboro; and a sister-in-law Theresa Vinson of Goldsboro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Sam Vinson.
Flowers are welcome or memorial gifts may be directed to the American Heart Association.
The family will greet friends following the service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
