RICHARD GILMORE

Richard Gilmore was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He departed his earthly tabernacle on Monday bound for his heavenly home with his Savior Jesus Christ.
Richard was preceded in death by his aunt, Mary Lizzie Ruff.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Valnetta Gilmore; his mother, Eloise Gilmore, three daughters, Christine Sanders and husband, Jermal, of Albuquerque, N.M., Maxine R. Anderson of Pikeville, N.C., Valnetta Foster of Mount Olive, N.C.; two sons, Kelvin Foster and wife, Stephanie, of Newport News, Va., J.Y. Foster and wife, Cynthia, of Goldsboro, N.C.; one sister, Kim Toy Mitchell and husband, George, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one brother, Kevin Benjamin Gilmore of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A walk through viewing will be held at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2007.
Homecoming services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at "The Sanctuary" at True Vision Ministries, Inc., 401 W. Main St., Pikeville, N.C. Pastor James E. Williams, MPA, officiating.
