HELEN LOUISE VENABLE

Helen Louise Venable, 83, of 406 Southwood Drive, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Emporium, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen Tauses and widow of Clarence Venable. She was a veteran of the WAAF and WAAC.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Toler officiating. Entombment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Helen is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law, Charlie and Diana Venable of Smithfield, Va., Jim and Debbie Venable of Las Vegas, Nev., Mike and Sallie Venable of Virginia Beach, Va., and Rick and Donna Venable of New Bern, N.C.; a sister, Mitzi Towner of Emporium, Pa.; and eight grandchildren, Dyonne Venable of New York, N.Y., Kassie Carson of Smithfield, Va., Shane Venable of Las Vegas, Nev., Maile, Melia, and Michael Venable, all of Virginia Beach, Va., Allison and Brady Venable, both of New Bern, N.C

Family members will greet friends Friday following the committal service.
