DULUTH, Ga. -- Rheda L. Darden, 52, of 2200 Satellite Blvd., died early Friday while visiting her son in New York.
Rheda was born in Sanfernando, Trinidad, to her parents, Doris Ramlal and Sookdeo Ramnarine, both who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, David Darden Jr.; two sons, Antonio Darden of the home, David "Rico" Darden of New York; stepdaughters, Letissue "Tish" Cody and husband, Cleveland, and Shayla Williams, all of Goldsboro; five step-grandchildren, Sheterrica, Jessica, Josh, Jamaal and Rajhon, all of Goldsboro; sisters, Chandra Boodram and Prema Sarjam, both of Trinidad, and Indra Gopesingh, who preceded her in death; brothers, Bhagwandeen Sookdeo and Kishore Sookdeo, both of Trinidad, and Bhooprad Soodeo, who preceded her in death; sisters-in-law, Nina Taylor and husband, Donald, of Goldsboro, Stephanie Darden of Charlotte, N.C. and Minister Treda Oates of Seven Springs, N.C.; brothers-in-law, Linwood Darden and wife, Vicky, of Mount Olive, Bobby Darden and wife, Darlene, of Goldsboro.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home in Goldsboro, N.C. and at other times at the home of Nina Taylor, 112 Courtney Road (Bayleaf Subdivision), Goldsboro. Funeral is scheduled to be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at House of Prayer, Dudley, N.C., with the Rev. Moses Darden officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
