DANIEL 'BUD' TREDWAY

Daniel "Bud" Balis Tredway, 77, Tech/Sgt. USAF retired, of 200 White Oak Road, died Friday at Wake Medical Center.A native of Norwich, N.Y., he was the son of the late Rolland H. and Ola Byrd Tredway and was the widower of Irene Davies Tredway.

Mr.Tredway served his country for 21 years in the United States Air Force as a civil engineer earning the National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and was decorated for good conduct, outstanding unit, valor and longevity. Mr.Tredway also worked at Lowe's after his retirement from military service.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr.Tredway is survived by two daughters, Teresa T. Gillis and husband, Ray, of Charlotte and Sharen T. Corbett and husband, Kenneth, of Goldsboro; a son, Steve Tredway and life partner, Randy Cunningham, of Raleigh; sisters, Reba T. Lindholm of Hartford, N.Y., and Edith T.Perry of Medina, N.Y.; brother, Robert Tredway of Sherburne, N.Y.; four grandchildren, David and Ryan Gillis, Joe Corbett and Michelle Guess; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Caleb and Campbell Gillis and Kyler Corbett.

Bud requests memorials be made to Kirkwood Retirement Community Sunshine Fund, 2710 Langston Dr., Goldsboro, N.C. 27534

The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
