HESSIE PARRIS WYNN

DUDLEY -- Hessie Lucille Parris Wynn, 87, of 102 Waldrop Road, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro with the Rev. Dann Patrick officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Ceme-tery in Princeton.

Mrs. Wynn was born in Jackson County, N.C. on March 23, 1920, to the late Lucius and Bertha Parris. She was a faithful member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church for 41 years.

She is survived by one son, Bobby Wynn of Dudley; one daughter-in-law, Gail Wynn of Goldsboro; one sister, Hollis Armstrong of Gastonia, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Miza Parris of Lowell, N.C.; and one grandson, Tony Wynn of Goldsboro.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wynn was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil A. Wynn; two sons, David Wynn and Jerry Wynn; two brothers and five sisters.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro and other times at the home of her daughter-in-law, Gail Wynn, 1900 E. Beech St., Goldsboro.
