ANNIE BELLE HARPER

Annie Belle Deaver Harper, 75, died Wednesday at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation Center for Mount Olive. Born in Lenoir County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Laura Alphin Deaver and wife of the late Fred Harper. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Harper is survived by two sons, Owen Scott Harper and wife, Sharon, of the Grantham Community, David Dwight Harper and wife, Mary, of Goldsboro; one daughter, Dolores Harper Loftin and husband, Joel, of Kinston, N.C.; four brothers, Horace Deaver, Jesse Deaver, Bobby Deaver, all of Kinston, N.C., Pete Deaver of Middlesex, N.C.; one sister, Virginia Tyndall of Kinston, N.C.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The Harper family will greet friends Saturday morning at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home one hour prior to the funeral service.
