DOROTHY G. PRICE
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- Mrs. Dorothy "Dottie" Grant Price, 83, of 220 Gilmer Park, passed away in Johnson City on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007. Mrs. Price was the daughter of John W. and Leaurah Tew Grant. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joseph Preston Price Jr.
She is survived by her son, Joseph P. Price III and his wife, Liz; daughters, Betsy Burleson and husband, Skip, of Johnson City, Judi Price and Rick Fehr of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren; brother, Johnny Grant of Hollywood, Calif.; sister, Laura G. Stevenson of Jacksonville, N.C., and Peggy G. Adams and Jayne G. Webber, both of Goldsboro.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Morris Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Burial was at Monte VIsta Memorial Park in Johnson City.
Mrs. Price was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church, was a loving mother who enjoyed her family, delighted in playing golf with friends and community service as a member of Johnson City Junior Service League.
