WILSON -- Doris Hare Barnes, 78, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Lee Barnes, and her parents, George and Mamie Sasser Hare.
Funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 North Field-stream Drive. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Gaylord Ballard of Elm City; a son and daughter-in-law, Rayford Lee "Ray" and Ellen Barnes Jr. of Clemmons; grandchildren, Chris Ballard, Emily Ballard Pate, Dane Barnes and Scott Barnes; seven great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Elvin Grant of Goldsboro.
