LAGRANGE -- Sudie Stallings Wiggins, 100, of 4367 Peggy's Path Road, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. "Miss Sudie" was born in Lenoir County to the late Jim and Laura Pelletier Stallings. She was a member of LaGrange First Free Will Baptist Church and had a great love of flowers and gardening.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at 2 p.m. from Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Chris Singleton and Harold Herring officiating.
"Miss Sudie" is survived by her son, Lenward Wiggins and wife, Peggy, of LaGrange; two grandchildren, Pam Wade and Vickie Perry, both of LaGrange; four great-grandchildren, Jason Wade and wife, Dana, and their daughter, Spencer, of Wilmington, Toni Lynn Sutton and husband, Wesley, of LaGrange, Jaime Perry of Wilmington and Megan Wade of LaGrange; along with three nephews.
