NANCY J. SAULS
EUREKA -- Nancy Jernigan Sauls, 94, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. at Mount Nelson Baptist Church in Eureka. The Rev. James Medlin will officiate. Visita-tion will follow the service. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Eureka Cemetery.
Mrs. Sauls was born on March 10, 1913, to the late Lonnie and Myrtie Jernigan.
She was a longtime member of Mount Nelson Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, J.T. Sauls, and his wife, MaryEllen, of Eureka; three sisters, Bernice Bradshaw and Gladys Reeves, both of Wilson, and Myrtie Lee Tingen of Florence, S.C.; a daughter-in-law, Betty Cor-bett of Eureka; six grandchildren, Nancy Lynn Graham, of Folsom, Calif., Nelson Staf-ford of Harrissburg, Pa., Kelly Hill, Carol Gray, Cheryl Bass, and Chris Sauls, all of Eureka; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sauls was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Sauls and a son, Jesse Corbett.
