ASHEBORO -- Bernice Martin Bondurant, 84, 1837 Pine Grove Drive, died Tuesday at her home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A.J. Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Star, N.C.
Mrs. Bondurant was a native of Montgomery County, was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy B. Simmons.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Russell Bondurant; sisters, Elaine Risk of Laurinburg, N.C., Mary Davidson of Asheboro, N.C., Barbara Beck of Asheboro, N.C.; grandchildren, Russ Ann Cook of Goldsboro, N.C.; Mary L. Wiggins of Goldsboro, N.C.; Joseph Parrish Simmons of Goldsboro, N.C.; great-grandchildren, Kenneth Wiggins, Mary Grace Wiggins and Taylor Cook.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro.
