Gladys Thompson, 77, 1306 N. James St., died Thursday at her residence.
Five children survive.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Ezekiel Sutton will officiate. Burial will follow in Old Mill Cemetery. Viewing will be 2-6 p.m. Tuesday at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
