PINE LEVEL -- Dorothy Southard Crocker, 84, died Thursday evening at her home. Born in Johnston County to the late William J. and Annie Overbee Southard, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Loomis A. Crocker. She was a member of Pine Level Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 6 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Family will receive friends following service. Burial will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Crocker Family Cemetery in Selma.
Surviving are her daughter, Brenda G. Crocker of Pine Level; sons, Gordon Crocker of Goldsboro, Steve Crocker of Kenly and Tim Crocker of Pine Level; brother, Fate Southard of Lemoore, Calif.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
