LOUISE L. TAYLOR

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Louise L. Taylor, formerly of 303 Bright St., Goldsboro, died Friday in Murfreesboro, Tenn., where she moved in 2000 to reside at Stones River Manor near her son, Dr. James E. Taylor, a professor at Middle Tennessee State University. She was 95 years of age at the time of her death. The past two years she lived at NHC in Murfreesboro.
Prior to moving there Mrs. Taylor lived in Goldsboro, N.C., for all her life. In addition to James, Mrs. Taylor had another son, Willie and daughter, Lois, both who passed away several years ago. Her last place of employment was with the State of North Carolina at Cherry Hill Hospital, Goldsboro, N.C. She had three adult grandchildren, Cheryl Morrison, Craig Taylor and Kisha Ansa Taylor, all of Maryland. Her son is married to Mrs. Vera Glenn-Taylor, a special education assistant at Blackman Elementary School of Rutherford County. The late Mrs. Taylor was blessed with four great-grandsons, Christian, Aemmanuel, Isaiah and Evan, all of Maryland. There are many other relatives living in North Carolina, New Jersey and Texas.
Mrs. Taylor loved to care for her landscape around her home in Goldsboro, travel and fish. She was a Bible reading woman and could discuss many facets of scripture.
The viewing for Mrs. Louise L. Taylor will be held Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Lightner Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 318 Denmark St., Goldsboro, N.C., at 11 a.m. Thursday.
