PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Eleanor M. nee Biggins Brunell, 66, formerly of Deptford, N.J., passed away Thursday.

Eleanor was an outgoing, loving and compassionate family woman who always spoke her mind. She enjoyed bowling, going on trips and watching and going to football games, especially the Army vs. Navy and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Eleanor also enjoyed talking local politics and attending township meetings.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Eleanor was a 38-year resident of Cooper Village in Deptford, prior to moving to Port St. Lucie in 2004. She was a compiler for Hart Hanks in Bellmawr for six years and prior to that worked at Macy's in Deptford for 11 years.

Beloved wife of 47 years to Edward C. Sr.; devoted mother of Edward C. Jr. and wife, Diana, Barbara Lynn Howard, Jeffrey and wife, Sharon, and the late Christopher; dear sister of John Biggins and wife, Rebecca; loving grandmother of Melissa, Timothy and Jerami Howard, Kameron and Kylie Brunell

Viewing Tuesday, 6:30-9 p.m. and Wednesday, 9 to 10 a.m. at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, N.J., where there will be a service at 10 a.m.

Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford, N.J.
