Myrtie Williford Stevens, 91, of Goldsboro died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wayne County to the late Jim and Nora Pipkin Williford and was married to the late Eddie Stevens.

Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Pollock will be officiating.

Mrs. Stevens is survived by three sons, Bobby Stevens of Goldsboro, Jimmy Stevens of Dudley and Linwood Stevens of Goldsboro; two sisters, Elva Baker and Clara Reeves; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Stevens; and two daughters, Sandra Kaye Hughes and Penny Ward.

The family received friends Saturday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. In addition to flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Riverside Free Will Baptist Church, 3045 Richardson Bridge Road, Princeton, N.C. 27569.
