Kara'um Ni-yel Gillette, 31, died Wednesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Funeral for Miss Gillette will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ebenezer M.B. Church in La Grange, with Dr. Michael A. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at La Grange Cemetery in La Grange.
Miss Gillette is survived by her mother, Sarah Dawson of Snow Hill; one son; one daughter; one brother; and three sisters.
Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m. at La Grange Funeral Services.
