Jack E. Brown, 53, of 701 Arrow Point Drive, died at his residence Friday morning.
He was the husband of Christine Brown of Goldsboro and the father of two sons, Stephen Brown of Goldsboro and Matthew Brown and fiancée, Monyetta Bizzell of Goldsboro.
He was the son of Connie Brown and the late Harold K. Vansant. Mr. Brown is also survived by a brother, Billy Brown of Florida; two sisters, Cindy Space of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Bonnie Brown of Florida.
Mr. Brown retired from the United States Air Force as a technical sergeant.
A memorial service will be held today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
