BEULAH A. THREEWITTS

Beulah Atkins Threewitts, 81, formerly of Littleton, died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Mrs. Threewitts was born in Halifax County, N.C., to the late Joseph W. Atkins and Maggie Warren Atkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Harvey Threewitts and her brother, Joseph W. "Bubba" Atkins.

She is survived by one daughter, Pamela T. Hawley and her husband, Jim; one son, Joseph "Joey" H. Threewitts and wife, Debbie, all of Goldsboro; two sisters, Dolly A. Anderson and husband, Calvin, of Whitakers, Imogene A. Pegram and husband, Elliott, of Greensboro and sister-in-law, Agnes Atkins of Littleton; eight grandchildren, Nichole Hill and her husband, John, Matthew Carter and his fiancee, Dana, Rex Threewitts and his fiancee, Tabitha, Ragan Threewitts, Ashley Holland and her fiance, Anthony, Melissa Holland, J.D. Holland and James Hawley and wife, Lora; great-grandchildren, Rylee Joe Myers, Levi Hawley and Noah Hawley.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2007 at the Littleton Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Littleton.

The family received friends at Blaylock Funeral Home of Littleton from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26. At other times the family will be at the home of Mrs. Agnes Atkins, 241 E. Halifax St., Littleton.

Memorial donations may be given to the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, P.O. Box 88, Goldsboro, N.C. 27533, Littleton Presbyterian Church or Rosewood Baptist Church, 562 N.C. Highway 581 South, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
