Phillip Michael Gilbert, 48, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was born in Portsmouth, Va., to the late Phillip and Doris Gilbert.
One child survives.
Funeral will be 5 p.m. Saturday from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro with visitation afterward. Entomb-ment services will be announced at a later date.
