KENLY -- Dallas V. Purvis Jr., 73, died Wednesday. He was born in Martin County to the late Dallas and Ida Purvis.
He is survived by his wife, Sallie Purvis and three children.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Minshew-Coley Funeral Home of Kenly. Burial will follow in the Dixon Family Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
