Rosa M. Speight Bryant, 86, of 101 Oakwood St., Apt. E, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, N.C. She was born to the late John and Margaret Edwards Speight.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the St. John United Holy Church, Fort Run Road, Snow Hill, N.C, with Elder Michael E. Artis presiding. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Goldsboro, N.C. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro, N.C. A wake will be held Thursday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel from 6 to 7 p.m. with the family present to receive friends and other family members.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Dock H. Bryant of the home; four daughters, Janice Gatling, Deborah Howard, Catherine B. Johnson and Elaine Dawson, all of Goldsboro, N.C.; four sons, Wilbur Bryant of the home, Joseph Bryant, Johnny Bryant and Hugh Bryant, all of Goldsboro, N.C.; a host of other relatives and friends.
