RALEIGH -- Ann Newbould Frederick, 69, died Saturday at her home.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, at North Raleigh United Methodist Church, 8501 Honeycutt Road, Raleigh, N.C. 27615. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, N.C. 27609.
Ann was born to John C. and Lou P. Newbould. She was a graduate of the Goldsboro schools and completed her education at University of North Carolina in Greensboro. Ann was an active member of North Raleigh United Methodist Church. She served faithfully as president of the United Methodist Women and was awarded the Woman of the Year.
Ann was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Ann was preceded in death by her son, Larry Randall Frederick.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Larry G. Frederick; daughters, Carol F. Smith and her husband, Michael, of Alpharetta, Ga.; and Jennifer F. Turner and her husband, Lance, of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister, Arden N. Shiro and her husband, Ted, of Naples, Fla.; and grandchildren, Jack and Anna English.
