LULU H. CHASTAIN

Mrs. Lulu Hammaker Chastain, 73, of 1110 Wayne Memorial Drive, died Monday at her residence.
Mrs. Chastain was born in Duncansville, Pa., to the late Herb Hammaker and Lovetta Hammaker. Mrs. Chastain worked at the Book Center and at local daycares.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Seymour Johnson A.F.B. Chapel, with Captain Randall Jamieson officiating
Mrs. Chastain is survived by her daughter, Frankie McPherson of Abilene, Texas; her sons, Dean Chastain and wife, Linda, of Pikeville, Jim Chastain and wife, JoAnn, of Bellevue, Neb., Rick Chastain and wife, Debra, of Charlotte, and Stuart Chastain and wife, Kristal, of New Port Richey, Fla.; her sisters, Betty Fleck of Duncansville, Pa.; Judy Gates of Bellingham, Wash., Linda Hammaker of Arvada, Colo., and Dorothy Barthlow of El Paso, Texas; her brothers, Tom Hammaker of Altoona, Pa., Joe Hammaker of Centre Hall, Pa., and Bob Hammaker of Altoona, Pa.; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Twyliah Jane Hammaker, and her sisters, Twyliah Ruth Kuhn and Eileen Joyce Hoover.
Following the service the family will receive friends at the home of Dean and Linda Chastain.
