LAGRANGE -- Mrs. Betty Hudson Smith, 66, of 2469 Titus Mewborn Road, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Mrs. Smith was born in Johnston County to the late Archie Hudson and Clyda Johnson Hudson. She was a 1959 graduate of Meadow High School. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Nowell officiating. Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Banner Chapel Church Cemetery in Benson.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, Terry Smith and wife, Jackie, of Goldsboro; her brothers, Pat Hudson of Benson and Verchel Hudson of Florida; and two grandchildren, Maxwell G. Smith and Madeline M. Smith of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Thursday following the memorial service.
