LAURA P. DUPREE

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Laura Melinda Pringle Dupree died Sunday in a car accident near Fountaintown, Duplin County, N.C. Mrs. Dupree and husband, Kenneth Royal Dupree II, reside at 4760 N. N.C. 111 Highway, Seven Springs. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Kenneth Richard Dupree and Ashley Ryan Dupree.

Mrs. Dupree was born in Buchannon, Upshire County, West Virginia. She is the daughter of Glenda Sue Page Pringle Southard and the late Donald Pringle and stepfather, Worth Southard. Laura graduated from East Duplin High School, married and became a loving wife to her husband and a devoted mother to her two "precious boys" as she called them, Richard and Ashley.

She worked for the Kinston Free Press for 15 years and FENC Communications in Jacksonville for three years.

Other survivors are one sister and two brothers, Kelly Pringle, Eddie Inman and Neil Southard; four nieces, Chassitity Inman, Candice Inman, Nicole Pringle and Savannah Southard; and six nephews, Josh Southard, Tra Inman, Brandon Pringle, Brandon Quinn, Zachary Quinn, and Tyler Quinn.

Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Pink Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Pink Hill Funeral Home with interment at the Outlaw-Dupree Cemetery near Outlaw's Bridge on Outlaw Road, Albertson. The family will receive friends at the home of Kenneth Dupree I and wife, Charlotte Dupree, 4321 N. N.C. 111 Highway, Albertson.
