EDITH H. WRENN

LAGRANGE -- Edith Holloway Wrenn, 83, of 412 N. Caswell St., died Monday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Wrenn was born in Orange County to the late Shell and Vera Walker Holloway. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Hoyle Smith and Wallace Lee Wrenn. Mrs. Wrenn retired in 1984 from American Tobacco Company following 47 years of service and was a member of the former Homestead Heights Baptist Church in Durham. She had a great love of sewing, crafts and dancing.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 10 a.m. from Woodlawn Memorial Park, Durham.

Mrs. Wrenn is survived by a daughter, Gail Outlaw and husband, A.J., of LaGrange; four stepchildren, Faye Huffman, Wallace Lee Wrenn Jr., Gerald A. Wrenn and Beth Wrenn Riggs; four sisters, Alice Delozier of Mebane, Joyce Trickey of Bahama, Nancy Langley of Mebane and Lucy Lane of Hillsborough; four brothers, Lynwood Holloway of Cedar Grove, Wayne Holloway of Cedar Grove, Elry Holloway of Durham and Bill Holloway of Hillsborough; grandchild, Kevin Farley; great-grandchild, Kaleb John Cooler; and a step-grandchild, Chase Riggs. She was preceded in death by a brother, Craven Holloway.
