SURF CITY -- Derald Dark Brown Sr., 75, of Atkinson Point Drive, died Thursday at New Hanover Regional Hospital in Wilmington. He was the son of the late Otis and Sallie Brown of Duplin County.
He is survived by his wife, Lenacarr Brown of the home and four children.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Providence Baptist Church of Holly Ridge with Dr. Al Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Devotional Gardens of Warsaw. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home of Holly Ridge.
