CHINQUAPIN -- Damien Montez Tyler, 16, died Sunday at Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.
He is survived by his father, Craig White of Garner, and mother, Howja Tyler of Rose Hill.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Lewis Missionary Baptist Church in Chinquapin, with the Rev. Gregory Hewett officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill.
