DUNN -- Lela M. Cox, 74, of 400 Ponderosa Drive No. 119, died Friday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. She was the daughter of the late Jasper and Lillie Cox.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Point Church in Newton Grove.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary King, Betty Cox Brooks, Debbie Cox; a son-in-law, Henry King; six grandchildren, Lisa Washington, Sonedia King, Gary King, Lannis King, Alexis Brooks, Sydney Brooks; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Hubert Cox of Virginia, Billy Cox of Newton Grove, and Wayne Cox of Faison; and two sisters, Christine C. Darden of Newton Grove and Louise Jones of Durham.
