MOUNT OLIVE -- Charlie Vann, 73, 104 Washington Ave., died Thursday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester Branch and Rossie Vann Peterson.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Northeast Chapel O.F.W.B. Church, with the Rev. Florence Pender officiating. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn McCullen Vann, and 10 children.
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. today with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, 401 Center St., Mount Olive.
