James Wayne Grady, 41, of 131 Park Ridge Road, died Tuesday at his home surrounded by his family.
Wayne was born in Wayne County to Dickie Wayne Grady and Joan Shelton Grady. He was employed with New Life Properties, LLC. Wayne enjoyed fishing and golf.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Bethel Church with the Rev. Steve Holder officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to his parents, Wayne is survived by his wife, Linda Kincaid Grady; his son, Wesley Wayne Grady; his sisters, Michelle Mitchell of Clayton and Jennifer Sexton and husband, Phillip, of Goldsboro; his great-aunt, Ann Rhodes of Goldsboro and several nieces and nephews.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to Bethel Church, 2308 N. William St., Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his parents, 1912 N.C. Hwy. 111 North, Goldsboro, N.C.
