KANNAPOLIS -- Ruth Adella Walter Waller, 91, formerly of 407 E. Fourth St., died Saturday after a period of declining health at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord, N.C.

Memorial service and celebration of her life will be 1 p.m. Tues-day at St. John's United Church of Christ in Kannapolis. The Rev. Dr. Warren Casidy, the Rev. Dr. Jesse Walter, a nephew of Stone Mountain, Ga., and the Rev. C.B. Owens, a grandson of Wilmington, N.C., will officiate. Interment will be private before the service at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord, N.C. Family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the church after the memorial service.

She is survived by one son, Charles E. "Bob" Waller and wife, Pat, of Goldsboro, N.C.; one daughter, Camilla "Millie" Hall and husband, Howard, of Kannapolis, N.C.; grandchildren, H. Reed Hall of Blowing Rock, N.C., Camilla H. Buckwell of Kannapolis, N.C., C.E. "Chuck" Waller of Goldsboro, N.C.; Scott Waller of Goldsboro, N.C., Wes Waller of Goldsboro, N.C.; and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ, 901 N. Main St., Kannapolis, N.C. 28081 or the Kannapolis Education Foundation, 100 Denver St., Kannapolis, N.C. 28083.
