MOUNT OLIVE -- Funeral services for Annie L. Budd, 74, of 610 Oliver St., who died at her residence on Wednesday, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Gospel Light United Holy Church, with the Rev. Marvin Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Green-Simmons Cemetery.
She is survived by four daughters, Valerie Budd of the home, Dorothy Eley of Mount Olive, Etta Hamilton of Goldsboro and Belinda Williams of Alabama; three sisters, Marion Hazelton of Winterville, Sarah Jones of Las Vegas, Nev., and Gladys Strickland of Mount Olive.
Viewing will be held Friday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel and from 7 to 8 p.m. at Gospel Light Holy Church, where the family will be present to receive friends. Online condolences maybe posted at garrisfuneralhome.net.
