C.L. BAKER

July 22, 1947 - June 11, 2007

Colton Leroy "C.L." Baker, 59, of 113 Brentwood Drive, died Monday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

C.L. was born in Wayne County to the late Albert Leroy "Roy" Baker and Mary Alene Grady Baker. He was retired from Bellsouth after 30 years of service. C.L. was an avid lifelong hunter.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, with Ken Spivey officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

C.L. is survived by his wife, Elda Horne Baker; his daughter, Katina B. Hilton of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Brandon Dean, Heather Dean, Tyler Dean, Blake Dean, Kaley Hilton, and Matthew Hilton; his sister, Loretta Vinson and husband, Pete, of Mount Olive; and his niece and nephew, Adam Vinson and Amanda Vinson.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C. 27834.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his home.
