JAMES E. ROESCH

Dec. 9, 1948-June 2, 2007

James Edward Roesch, age 58, formerly of 232 Weston Circle, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Mobile, Ala., he was the son of the late John E. and Frances Cole Roesch. Mr. Roesch was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was employed with Pate-Dawson Corporation. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Mark Scott officiating. Private committal services will be held at Wayne Memorial Park.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James Carroll and Terra Roesch of Mount Olive, N.C.; a daughter, Jessica Jewell Roesch Matthews of Mount Olive, N.C.; one brother, John Roesch of Venice, Fla.; one sister, Marilyn Rogstad of Gainesville, Va.; three grandchildren, Madalyn, Emily and Preslee Roesch all of Mount Olive; and several nieces and nephews.

Family members will greet friends immediately following the funeral service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of Carroll and Lois Grimes, 1920 Grimes Road, Mount Olive.
