Elizabeth T. Britton, 96, of Dunn died Friday at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Britton was born in Harnett County to the late Tyrus and Vara Lee Thornton. She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Britton Sr.
Two children survive.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Dunn with Dr. Len Keever officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Skinner and Smith Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the George H. Britton Scholarship Fund at Campbell University, Buies Creek, N.C. 27506, or to First Baptist Church for Global/International Missions, 309 W. Broad St., Dunn, N.C. 28334.
