Michael Lavelle Wheeler, 32, 2504 Norwood Ave., died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was the son of Sandra Wheeler and Charlton Battle, who survive.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Deeper Life Church Ministries, 900 Eleventh St., with the Rev. William Sessions officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Viewing will be 2-6 p.m. Friday at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro. Family will receive friends at the home of his mother at 1000B Slaughter St.
