HICKORY -- Edith Kimberly Howell Tyler, 42, of 1446 17th Ave. N.E., died Sunday. Born in Guilford County, she was the daughter of Lorraine H. Howell and the late James W. Howell. She was furniture assembler.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church with the Revs. Dennis Pollock and Lewis Forsythe officiating.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Tyler is survived by a son, Donald James Kennedy; a daughter, Celia Leigh Kennedy; and a brother, Dennis W. Howell.
Family members will greet friends following the service at the church and at other times at the home of her mother.
