SEVEN SPRINGS -- Burtrell Graham Price Sr., 72, of 285 Atlas Price Road, died Friday at his home. Burtrell was born in Duplin County to the late Dalton and Dora Ruth McArthur Price. He retired as a Lieutenant following thirty years of service with the North Carolina Highway Patrol and was a member of Seven Springs Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. today from Pineview Cemetery with the Revs. Phillip Garrett and Ashley Summerlin officiating.
Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Grady Price; two sons and daughters-in-law, Burtrell G. and Lisa Price Jr. of Elizabeth City and Clint and Pam Price of Hampstead; granddaughter, Tara Price; three sisters, Pattie Daly of Goldsboro, Linda Garris of San Antonio, Texas, Iris Kilpatrick of Mount Olive; brother, Dwight Price of Goldsboro; and a half-brother, Marion Barwick of Seven Springs.
The family will receive friends at the home and immediately following the graveside service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com.
